Job Description
We are looking for committed Instructors to run and/or supervise martial art, fitness, yoga, or meditation program. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full teaching plan according to the studio's requirements.
It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to clients/students while also helping them develop their skills. You will also explain applicable safety rules and regulations.
The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to clients/students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process.
Ultimately, you will help your clients/students have fun and improve their health through exercise.
Responsibility
- Identify the clients' fitness level and health.
- Oversee completion of exercise routines. Track clients' physical and training progress.
- Conduct individual and group training classes.
- Modify training plans based on needs, potential injuries or health issues.
- Adopt a holistic training approach.
- Assess and record clients' progress and provide feedback.
- Plan and execute activities, performance, and events.
- Plan and organize the level tests.
- Oversee the use of equipment to ensure clients exercise properly and safely.
- Handle nutrition and health-related questions.
- Refer to and promote packages and plans.
- Carry out First Aid and CPR if needed.
- Follow safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Follow studio and companies instructions and standards.
- Maintain tidy and orderly studio and training rooms.
Key Qualifications
- Previous work experience as an Instructor/Trainer or similar role Professional experience in at least one style of martial arts, yoga, meditation, or fitness.
- Knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans and classes according to clients' needs.
- Ability to instruct and motivate people Excellent communication skills.
- Well-organized and committed.
- Creative and energetic.
- Teamwork.
- Available to work on early or late shifts and on weekends and follow company and studio's schedule.
- Proven experience of CPR and First Aid.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Kinesiology or Sports Science.
- National-level/International-level athlete.
- National/International rewards.
- Teaching, trainer or health, nutrition or similar certificate.
